Ok, how about I put you in touch with my tutor. I’m sure if you write to KCE, they’ll promptly answer you. You can probably have a look around their office/townhouse. My two cents… if you already have a visa sorted, save some money and get a tutor privately. KCE has a great set-up if you need a visa, but otherwise, it can get expensive.

hello!! its julene, back in sjz.
actually i am pretty interested in learning chinese, and as my working hours are different from the normal ones, i guess that the best option for me is the private tutor or the KCE, I would appreciate if you could help me with this.

@christina, i’m a student, but i study in English . and all my classmates are foreigners .we did have a rather summarized but yet helpful class of Chinese for 2 months or so . considering that i didn’t know a word of Chinese when i got here, it helped a lot . getting a language partner would be the most ideal for me . thanks for the suggestion. I’ll post something on the forum .

Do you have any Chinese classes? What about getting a Chinese tutor? Then you can work on different grammar and structure things and he/she can correct your Chinese when you need it. Hey it sounds like you’re making progress though, I don’t think many people would be fluent in Chinese after a year! What are you doing in SJZ? Student, teacher, business? How about putting something on the forum and offering a language exchange – like being a language partner. Or just asking if anyone wants to meet up and chat, etc. Post something and see what happens.
